Meet Dr. Nichole E. Anderson DDS

Dr. Anderson graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelors degree in Health Care Science from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, then graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. She went on to complete a hospital based General Practice Residency at Denver Health Medical Center, a Level One Trauma Center and safety net hospital, focusing on medically compromised patients, operating room treatment, emergency dental treatment, on-call hospital rotations, comprehensive care, pediatric operating room and in-office treatment, surgical extractions, and complex endodontic (root canal) treatment. Prior to going to dental school, Dr. Anderson was a Registered Dental Hygienist and myofunctional therapist, lecturing nationally on the etiology and treatment of airway and myofunctional disorders. She also lectures on epigenetics and laser use in dentistry. She owns and operates the Institute of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, teaching other licensed professionals how to identify and treat myofunctional disorders. She is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the International Association of Tongue Tie Professionals, and the American Academy of Laser Dentistry. She treats both children and adults and offers a wide array of treatment options that are personalized for each patient and their symptoms.
